Why We Fight | Trailer

This a trailer that I edited for the documentary “Why We Fight” that I co-produced and edited. Why We Fight follows three Toronto-based martial artists at very different stages of their journeys: Olivia Bahsous, a teenage Muay Thai champion fighting on the world stage; Sara Bailey (née Haghighat-Joo), the fastest Canadian—male or female—to become a boxing world champion; and Cesar Bonilla, a 40-year-old fighter who overcame drug addiction to return to the ring. Through intimate interviews and behind-the-scenes access, the film explores their personal journeys, revealing the heart and sacrifice that fuel their pursuit of greatness. More than just a story about champions, Why We Fight dives into what drives them beyond the ring, uncovering the struggles, motivations, and resilience that make them who they are.
